I have recently graduated from Pennsylvania State University this May, majoring in public relations, with a minor in sociology. I am originally from Long Island, NY and I am looking to work in the Northeast region. Through my internships as well as educational experience I am looking for opportunities in both the public relations and the media industry. Most of my internships have been with ad sales, and I have enjoyed every minute of it; the interaction with people is what I loved most.

        PR still is of great interest to me, even though I have not been able to intern within the PR industry, I believe my experiences have made me a more well-rounded person. My specific interest within PR lays in social media; I believe social media has and is still revolutionizing how companies are reaching and interacting with their publics. What I enjoy most about social media is that there is more interaction with customers; this is true through crowdsourcing,  Q&A, and opinion polls; companies are learning about their publics wants and needs more than ever. It is a never ending, and a forever changing job, and that is what makes PR so appealing to me. I am currently searching for positions, please take a look at the rest of my portfolio.
